Mariah pulls all the stops at Christmas
Mariah Carey began the six-night residency "All I Want for Christmas Is You: A Night of Joy and Festivity" at New York's Beacon Theatre in 2014.
In the two years that followed, she brought back the residency at Beacon before extending it into a tour, taking the spectacular to Europe.
She finished it at MSG in 2019 following a series of concerts in Las Vegas, Atlantic City, and Boston.
Mariah 'throws a hissy fit' over Cher releasing a Christmas album
The tour announcement comes amid speculation that Mariah was unamused by the revelation that fellow artist Cher will release her first holiday album in the coming weeks.
A source told the National Enquirer that Mariah has been "trashing Cher for daring to put out a Christmas album.
The source also added that Mariah thinks "she owns the holiday."
"Anytime another artist, especially a female, releases a Christmas album, Mariah throws a hissy fit."
